New Year’s promotions
We are delighted to announce that, in keeping with the New Year’s tradition, the group of Counsels at our firm has expanded. This year, two members of the Dispute Resolution team have joined the ranks:
Dr. Anita Garnuszek, attorney-at-law, has been with WKB since 2018, specializing in commercial cases and international arbitration. Anita is renowned for her creative approach to challenging cases and her dedication to the development of young lawyers within the firm. Her expertise and professional achievements have been recognized by legal rankings, including The Legal 500. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Rising Stars – Lawyers of Tomorrow award.
Maciej Gniewosz, attorney-at-law, has been part of WKB since 2015, specializing in complex commercial disputes, including those related to infrastructure investments and bankruptcy law. Maciej is known for his focus on practical solutions and effectiveness in achieving clients’ goals. His professionalism and skills have also been acknowledged in the international Legal 500 guide.
The group of Managing Associates has also been strengthened by two talented lawyers:
Anna Wiktorow-Bojska, attorney-at-law, joined WKB in 2024. She specializes in advising clients in the Life Sciences sector, providing support on matters related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and dietary supplements at every stage of the product lifecycle. She is a leader in social projects and a member of the Appeals Committee for Compensation from the Clinical Trials Compensation Fund. Since 2022, she has been annually recommended in the international Legal 500 ranking in the Life Sciences & Healthcare category.
Anna Zbierska, attorney-at-law, has been with WKB since 2024. She specializes in economic criminal law and business risk management, including cases involving medical malpractice liability. She is a certified forensic auditor and academic lecturer, combining expertise in criminal law, commercial law, and finance to support clients in highly complex cases.
